A soft, latex-free sponge that presses foundation into the skin instead of dragging it across. Damp it, bounce it, and the formula sits like skin — no streaks, no caking, nothing collecting in fine lines.
How do I use it with the foundation?
Run it under water and squeeze out the excess so it is damp, not wet. Dot foundation onto your face, then bounce the rounded side over it to press the formula in. Use the pointed tip around the nose and under the eyes.
Why damp and not dry?
A dry sponge drinks your foundation. Damp, it is already full of water, so the product goes onto your face rather than into the sponge — which is why you end up using less of it.
How do I clean it?
Wet it, work in a drop of mild soap and squeeze until the water runs clear, then let it air-dry somewhere open. Once a week is enough for daily use.
How often should I replace it?
With regular washing it keeps its bounce for around three months of daily use. Replace it when it stops springing back or starts to tear.
Does it work with other makeup?
Yes. It was shaped around our foundation, but it applies concealer, cream blush and other liquid or cream formulas just as well.
Sponge or brush?
The sponge presses product in and gives a softer, skin-like finish. The brush sweeps it across and gives more coverage in one pass. Most people who own both use the brush for the face and the sponge for under the eyes.
